Kapiladhara tirth

Kapiladhara tirth is close to Nasik on Mumbai Nasik road.
It is said to be the place where Kapil muni at his tender age taught the Sankhya yoga to his mother.
The tirth is seen above in the actual snap taken  This is the point of sangam of Godavari and Kapila river.

The beautiful location,  is said to be the sacred place where several sages of India stayed and did tapas.  Samarth Ramdas gave diksha to Chatrapati Shivaji. Gajanan Maharaj, a saint from Shegaon in Maharashtra did his tapas in recent times.

There is a Shiva temple and other temples. The area is clean and you will feel something in the visit.
