The Nataraja in Ellora : quite different from Nataraja in Tanjawar and several places including The Tao of Physics. This one is stunning. See the raised leg and the poise. He is looking above and beyond.. Several philosophers sages and thinkers have tried to decode Shiva as Nataraja. Even Fritjof Capra got inspired by the image and wrote so in his The Tao of Physics.
But Ellora image in one of the less seen corners was captivating and as a artist very challenging even to reproduce.
