Swami Vivekananda said in his speeches from Colombo to Almora that this is the land where wisdom made its home before it went to any other land, this is the land where every soul wending his way godward must come to account for his karma, above all it is land of Spirituality. Ours is a blessed punyabhumi.
Here geography shaped history and aspiration for infinite weaved the finite.
Urraram yat samudrasya Himadreschaiva Dakshinam
... such is this land.
Today areas like Northeast are appearing as isolated, cornered, for we don't see the real map of India while discussing any regional problem. The map is above, based on spiritual places and trade routes, there is no reason to believe in any isolation theory of any part of the Mother.
