The Golden heartbeats of Indian History part 1

The Golden heartbeats of Indian history Generally history is taught in a very compartmentalised manner, such textbook type history has no inspiring ideas and just becomes a theoretical dry subject. Moreover western historians and colonised Indian intellectuals have completed messed up and deliberately twisted chronology of Indian history, whether it is of Vedic age or Aryan myth or Epics and Puranas or even about Mauryan, Chola, Gupta, and all other samrajyas. Swatatyavir Savarkar has written Six glorious epochs of Indian history if we add North-eastern part to it and also see this synchronous heartbeats then it becomes a really revealing way to know the insights of our history and culture. Here we will see a way to put histories of different parts of India esp. Mainland and Northeast India and that of world together and then reveal an amazing synchronicity in all this…why events, utterances and even inspirations are so synchronous and came at same time or in succession when communication networks were not as strong and quick as they are now. That is because entire India is one living Shakti and not just a piece of earth, her heartbeats are heard in every part and time and have inspiring echoes for centuries to follow. History of India is of centripetal and centrifugal vibrations and amazing extensions and expansions. This is a living nation and culture and has been nourishing the world with her gentle dew since time immemorial. We will take in a short session just some examples from history of India southern, Northern, western, Northeastern, and also that of other parts of Asia, Europe and beyond to see how amazing the Golden heartbeats of the Mother have created history of this nation and of the world. 7 GLORIOUS EPOCHS OF HISTORY According to a poet, history is not a burden to be kept on head and to get dwarfed by. It is a ladder to put foot upon, in order to read our future. Swatantyavir Savarkar has wriiten a book “ Six glorious epochs of Indian history’ which is so inspiring. Add Northeast’s page to it and we see a unifying current throughout. The nation vibrates to same spiritual tune. How? The following section and chronology will clear this. Let’s start from the eighth century. In 712 AD Muhammad bin Kasim attacked Sindh. King Dahir and his wives gave tooth and nail fight but lost it. 1000 AD Mohammad Gazani invaded the land, ladies sold their jewellery, worked day and night on charakha to protect the land. His greed forced him to continue attacks till 1026. Somnath was demolished for more than ten times. He was followed by Muhammad Ghori, Eibak, Razia, Balban, … and then Allauddin Khilaji. 1312 AD Shankardeva and Harapaldeva revolted but were crushed mercilessly. Far away from Delhi, at the footsteps of Mother India , Vidyaranya, a sanyasi left the pursuit of his own liberation to liberate the motherland from clutches of the devils as he inspired Harihar and Bukka to establish the empire of Vijayanagar. (1336 AD) 1527 AD Babar defeated Rana Sanga (Sangram Singh) and became emperor of India. But he was stunned by the fight given by Rana in spite of hundreds of injuries. Babar was followed by Humayaun, and then by Akabar. 1565 AD Vijayanagar empire was destroyed. 1576 AD Mansingh, a general of Akbar, hit his head against another Indian lion, Rana Pratap. At Haldighat. Rana Pratap died in 1597 AD. Revolt in Bengal and Bihar was crushed by Mughals. Till 1630 AD things went on in almost similar way. Kashmir was annexed to Mughal empire (1586) Chandbibi was killed and Ahmednagar was annexed. (1601) The revolts of Khanjaha Lodi and Zunzhar Singh Bundela were crushed. (1631) Akbar, Jahangir, Shahajahan, the names went on changing but none was the solution of the problems. The revolt of Shahaji was also crushed during the same time. Ramdas, a sanyasi in his loin cloth and muscular body was scolding the god : ‘Where have you lost your bows and arrows? There is no food to eat, no home to stay, no clothes to wear!!’ Eknath another saint with his eyes open, was singing in the temple of the Mother, Baya dar ughad, baya dar ughad… open the doors of the temple Mother.’ And through the darkness covering darkness, came a ray of hope. The doors of the mother’s temple Bhavani Mandir, were opened and Sahyadri witnessed birth of a nation builder, Chatrapati Shivaji. (1630 AD)
